Lauren Lowery

Chief Executive Officer

Lauren is executive producer of The Vintage House Podcast and Radio programs on WNUR 89.3FM Evanston/Chicago, and WNUR.org and President of Vintage House Show LLC.

• Lauren Lowery is an thorough interdisciplinary researcher, historian, media artist, writer and archivist whose current projects combine Black music, social technologies, and futurities of Chicago popular cultures. She interrogates these histories through the lens of the Black Diaspora, Transnationality and Contemporary Black Popular Music using the Vintage House shows and its appendages. Lauren began her love affair with House Music as host of WNUR’s Streetbeat show as a student DJ in 1985. She contributed as assistant producer of the WTTW-PBS produced documentary Chicago Stories: House Music, A Cultural Revolution. Her exhibitions and research have been produced and exhibited with the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, Northwestern University’s Dittmar Gallery, The Dance Center at Columbia College Chicago and Navy Pier, Chicago.

• With Dr. Jeffrey Sterling she co-authored the book “Voices and Visions: The Evolution of the Black Experience at Northwestern University” which, using first person narrative and archival
research, uncovered over fifty years of joy and tragedies of Black Life while studying at a major United States research institution. She holds a BA from Northwestern University, an MA from Northeastern Illinois University, Carruthers School of Urban Studies and a Professional Certificate from the Modern Archives Institute at the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, DC.

Kevin Mega McFall

Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Mega McFall is host of The Vintage House Radio program on WNUR 89.3FM Evanston Chicago the premiere livestreaming, radio show & podcast advancing the culture, history and business of House music. He serves as Chief Operating Officer of The Vintage House LLC.

• Born and raised on Chicago’s Southside, Kevin is a House DJ in-waiting, and is recog-nized as the first House Music publicist exclusively representing artists, DJs, remixers and producers of the genre. Kevin’s agency has had a client roster that included many of the pioneers of House including Keith Nunnally, Ten City, Steve Silk Hurley’s ID Productions, Hula & Fingers, DaJae, Fast Eddie, LNR, Mirage Entertainment, Terry Hunter’s UBQ Productions and more! His experience with music journal-ism, public relations, media, licensing and the business of music is extensive.

• The principal operator of a marketing agency - Red Clay Digital, McFall also served as an adjunct professor of Business at Harold Washington College. A former SVP of Business Development for the iconic EBONY and JET media brands, he is an accomplished business and technology leader who co-founded the world’s first identity-based search engine – RushmoreDrive.com. Kevin served as assistant
producer of the WTTW-PBS produced docu-mentary Chicago Stories: House Music, A Cultural Revolution.

• Kevin holds a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Computer Science and Math-ematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Kevin enjoys time with his family and is a servant leader in his community.

Lori Branch

Chief Creative Officer

Lori Branch is host of The Vintage House Radio program on WNUR 89.3FM Evanston Chicago and WNUR.org and a House Music Trailblazer. She serves as Chief Creative Officer of The Vintage House, LLC.

• A Chicago native that began her life-long affair with music in 1980 as the DJ for a Chicago-based, social club named Vertigo. Vertigo, founded by Eric Bradshaw, Craig Loftis and Steven Moore hosted dozens of teen parties from 1980-1984 in such iconic locations such as Sauers, the Loft, the Penthouse, Aragon
Ballroom and McCormick Place.

• As a solo artist, Lori has held residencies in numerous Chicago clubs, played opening sets for several recording artists such as Michelle Ndegeocello, Lauryn Hill, Arrested Develop-ment, A Tribe Called Quest and others.

• Lori has co-produced music for several independent film projects in addition to writing and producing television and film projects such as Kevin's Room, 40th:The Story of Roberts
Temple and the Rap-it-Up Chicago series. Seen by many as a pioneer DJ in Chicago's House Music scene and one of (if not the) first woman to grace the decks, Lori has been featured in a number of documentaries including the recent PBS-WTTW produced Chicago Stories: House Music, A Cultural Revo-lution, articles and television specials. Lori curated the Navy Pier Chicago exhibition Chicago: Home of House. Lori views her love of all music as a "life-affirming, artistic extension of me." Lori is a mom, wife, sister, daughter, niece and cousin. "My family keeps me grounded in truth; my music keeps me moving in all the right directions."
